Coming to Byers Green
Byers Green is signed from the A688 which links Spennymoor and Bishop Auckland.
The A690 linking Willington and Durham will also bring you to the village, take a turning signed Binchester, Newfield and after crossing the River Wear take a left turn signed Byers Green.
Please collect your cottage keys from Thomas Wright House, High Street, Byers Green, DL16 7PF our new Restaurant & Guest Accommodation which has a large roadside sign and is opposite the Green in the centre of the village. This is only a couple of minutes drive from the Cottages. It is likely to be Esther or Lisa who will see you there.
Your keys will be ready from 3pm – but we do serve food from 12 every day so if you’re early maybe you’d like some refreshments!
On departure, which is 10am please from your cottage (so we can make everything spotless for our next guests ! ) lock up and return the keys to Thomas Wright House.
Finding Your Cottage
Follow North Street which skirts the Green, as far as it goes.
Hall Farm Cottage is to the right at the start of the Lane. Park within the cottage grounds.
No. 1 Old Hall Cottage is down the Lane on the left. Do park outside to unload, but then move your car to the car park at the end of the buildings, again on the left.
No. 2 Old Hall Cottage is accessed through double gates (always open) further down the Lane that lead to The Old Hall garden. Do bring your car in to unload but then park in the car park on the left beyond the garden wall.
